Get to Know Us

Sharon Nicholsen, born and raised in Breezy Point on the Peninsula. Attended PS 114,

180 JR. High School, Beach Channel High School. Started working in salon's in Rockaway Beach

since I was 16 years old. 

I knew from a very young age doing hair was my passion, because all my Barbies had the best hair cuts 

and magic marker make-up. My first color service, when I was 12 years old. On my best friend with

my mothers red bingo ink. She was very hesitant, worried about if it would wash out and how

her mother would react. I managed to convinced her it was wash out. Well, long story short it did not wash out.

That was the start of my career as a hairdresser, now with over 30 years experience. Having my own hair salon on 116th Street, Rockaway Beach, is a dream come true. My staff and I love serving the community. We love our clients and being apart of there special occasions, Weddings, Birthdays, Communions, etc.
